Focusing and Internal Family Systems
Great place to start is with Inner Relationship Focusing
Originally developed by Eugene Gendlin as a tool for self inquiry. It is an ingenious tool that we can use together to go on a discovery journey within yourself to meet the parts of you that need attention, understanding and care.
It is like a meditation with the map provided by your own self. This practice, once experienced with a guide, can also be done alone.

While working within the framework of Focusing we will be drawing from another approach to self healing work developed by Richard Schwartz: Internal Family Systems
This will give you a better understanding of your own internal family system and how that affects the way you feel and function.
Somatic Work and Coaching
Family Constellation Work

This is a part where we discover in greater detail how your nervous system is accustomed to respond to stimuli and various stressors.

Drawing on the work of Dr. Peter Levine and my study of Somatic Attachment Therapy and Somatic Stress Release, we will train your ability to be present to your internal processes in a new way that allows you to respond rather than repeat the old pattern of reaction.

Building your ability to consistently be there for yourself outside of therapy. Being able to notice what is happening in any given moment and how your nervous system and body are responding. (Bottom up processing)

A central element in my work as a facilitator. Based on a system developed by the German psychotherapist, Bert Hellinger, Family Constellations work delves into the dynamics and intergenerational patterns within a family system.

This is an extremely important element of healing, as we have a tendency to view ourselves as separate and can blame ourselves for our misfortunes and suffering, feeling more isolated in that sentiment.

Once we re-discover our connection to our family of origin and become aware of all the aspects and implications of this biological bonding - we can fully heal.

My therapeutic interventions aim to bring clarity and resolution to family issues, promoting healing and restoring balance within your internal and external relationships.
